2/4/13 - Heart of Glenview

The Glenview Giving Foundation is pleased to announce the theme for Heart of Glenview 2013 “Divas of the Silver Screen.”  This evening of delicious food tastings, music and dance performances takes place on Monday, February 4, 2013 and is the sixth annual event produced by the Foundation to raise money for several different social service agencies that serve individuals and families in Glenview.  The “Divas” theme allows the event to showcase unforgettable film clips and the most memorable music of such musical icons as: Garland,  Streisand, Midler, Ross, Monroe, Minnelli and Houston.  The event which takes place at the Glen 10 Movie Theater at the Glen Town Center will run from 5:30 until 9 PM with restaurant tastings between 5:30 and 8 PM.  The night will also feature silent and live auctions as well as raffle drawings.  Tickets are $40.

Kids Heart of Glenview Logo


The Kids Heart of Glenview logo designer is Sarune Pucinskaite, a student at Glenbrook South High School, class of 2011. Sarune is a young passionate artist who plans to pursue art in the future. She has taken numerous classes at South, the school of the Art Institute of Chicago, and other private art academies. Sarune has proven herself as an outstanding student artist and designer. She was selected to be part of the Advanced Placement Studio Art class in the fall. In May, 2010, Sarune was awarded the Glenbrook South's Art Department, Outstanding Junior Artist of the Year in Drawing . Sarune has been elected as the Art Club President for the 2010-2011 school year and will lead the group in many exciting and creative endeavors and adventures! This young lady's talents and dedication to the arts will only continue to grow and fluorish.
